Initiation

This is a 8-week professional services engagement utilising the EBA methodology, to train and empower your teams to accelerate your modernisation journey and maximise your cloud value.

• We will perform a rapid assessment to identify 2-3 MVP opportunities and match these to the pathways and create target architectures.

• Recommendations for the build and deployment of the MVPs will be presented for customer approval and buy in.

Assess and Architect - 1 week

Execution - 3-days

• Our senior AWS modernisation specialists will begin by working backwards to understand your current modernisation challenges and drivers for cloud modernisation.

• We will lead you in utilising the EBA methodology to plan and prepare for the modernisation MVP deployment.

• We will define the goals for the execution event and ensure the right teams are enabled and available to participate.

• We will asses your current skills aligned to the MVP deployment and deliver training to address any gaps.

Review and Accelerate - 1 week

• We will complete a retrospective and validate the outcomes of the sprint, identifying next steps to continue your cloud modernisation journey and expedite business value.

• EBA agile methodology and AWS cloud modernisation enablement of your participating teams.

• End to end engagement management including facilitation and hosting of the agile execution sprint by our EBA experts.

• Senior AWS certified modernisation experts supporting and empowering your teams to deliver AWS cloud business value.

How do we select the MVP for modernisation?

What agile ways of working will we utilise in the engagement?

The execution event is run as an agile sprint with ceremonies. Each team will define their sprint goals, epics and user stories into a backlog during the preparation and utilise a Kanban board in the event. A retrospective will be run post the engagement to identify lessons learnt and next steps to continue your cloud journey and expedite cloud business value. This is part of the EBA methodology engagement we will do with your teams.

How do you ensure leadership buy in?

A senior customer sponsor is a pre requisite for a successful engagement to ensure the goals are aligned to business priorities, and to rally support within the organisation to provide resources and the required cross-functional teams.

What number of participants take part in the 3-day execution sprint?

Typically 10-15 customer participants will take part dependant on your organisation's structure and the goals of the engagement.

Can our existing cloud partner take part in the engagement?

Yes, your current partner is welcome and encouraged to participate in the engagement and sprint execution as an extension of your teams.

In this 8-week engagement we combine traditional classroom training with cloud consulting, and agile ways of working.

You will develop the knowledge and skills to de risk and accelerate your modernisation initiatives utilising the Experience-Based Acceleration (EBA) methodology.

We will perform a rapid assessment, define MVP scope, select modernisation pathway(s) and build out an MVP.

You provide the builders while we provides the modernisation advisor, technical approach and the EBA delivery methodology.)
